  We have got a toshiba regza which is passive 3d led tv. Picture is good but as we found with the 2 we returned before getting that one the sound system was poor and we had to buy a sound bar to improve the quality. This is an LED tv which when we read reviews on 3D tv came out better than an LCD for picture quality. However I believe the active plasma 3d TVs offer a higher def picture but don't come with free glasses which are more expensive and require batteries. Reviews suggest active 3d is more likely to cause headaches and sore eyes etc.

  Again i got the VT42 its not led but plasma as i think the VT50 is a bit too big for my living room

  i have to say feature-wise samsung TVs are good, but if your looking for the best pic quality then the Panasonic range produce the best images!

  i have a 47" panasonic LED, passive 3D tele. the model is something like et5b.
  
  i watched a bluray on it the other day, looks great!

  Where do you get that information from mate? Oh honestly didn't realise that high input lag was good. Thanks for pointing that out to me.
  
  I must get rid of my full hd 3d plasma with hardly any lag and get a higher lagging led. Thanks mate.

  the panasonic is cheap but its plasma.
  
  the 923/925 is back lit as opposed to the 850 being edge lit.......
  
  after comparing them all the sony 850 would be my preferred choice but i wasnt prepared to pay the premium for it
