I would try to find out the weight of the second bike if I were you, and go for the lighter of the two

I would tend to avoid sportsdirect - their customer service isn't brilliant.

Have you tried Amazon? here are some in a similar price range £60 to £75
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sonic-Boom-Boys-Bike-Inch/dp/B002LISESE/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=sports&qid=1255989001&sr=1-5

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Raleigh-16-Boys-ZZAP/dp/B000W4CSGI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=sports&qid=1255989001&sr=1-2

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Raleigh-Boys-Invader-Dual-Suspension/dp/B000W49H76/ref=pd_cp_sg_1
I think the suspension ones can be a bit heavier..

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Townsend-Zig-Zag-Boys-Bike/dp/B002QQ7JJQ/ref=sr_1_21?ie=UTF8&s=sports&qid=1255989001&sr=1-21

If its an xmas pressie - make sure you assemble the bike on arrival and not on Xmas eve.............

I'd pay the little extra and go for this one

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_264601_langId_-1_categoryId_165602

worth the extra for peace of mind, knowing it is correctly and safely assembled, they also do a free check after six weeks and will fit any accessories.

Id personally go for the halfords one too, I know its just a kids bike but always buy a bike from those who specialise in bikes I would say
