Calling all experts out there, which of these is the best deal for a desktop replacement?

HP G60 116EM QL-60 3GB 250GB 15.6" £399
Toshiba A300-13X TL-60 2GB 200GB 15.4" £399
Toshiba Equium P300-16T 17" £399

http://direct.tesco.com/compare/?c=203-5206+204-9201+203-9828+205-7849&f=%2Fspecials%2F%3FNe%3D92%26Ntt%3D4642%26Ntx%3Dmode%2Bmatchall%26Nr%3D99%26N%3D308%2B1999724%2B4294959331%2B264%26Ntk%3DP_SEARCH_Buy_List_IDs

Anyone recommend any of the above or think it a hot (especially if a further 10% off)/cold deal?

Thanks!

Hmm, I have no idea! I'd looked at Tesco 'cause I can get 10% off but not a good deal if 10% dearer than a better laptop elsewhere anyway. Opinions appreciated. Ta.

the Fujitsu shown on that comparison page has the best processor I think.

What are you going to be using it for? none of those will do gaming very well since they all have on-board graphics.

Just as a desktop replacement for space saving. MP3s, pics, office stuff, email and web browsing. I'm impatient so I don't want anything really slow but not into gaming and my kids are still young enough that cbeebies games are their level yet. The fujitsu one is about £7 cheaper in Argos but not if there's any vouchers or with the discount.

As I said, the Fujitsu has the best processor. Concentrate on the bits you won't be able to upgrade and decide whats important. If its a desktop replacement I'd suggest the one with the bigger monitor might be better and with what you're using the laptop for you probably won't notice the performance difference.

Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking I will go for the larger screen Equium. Anyone think £399 (£360 after my discount) is a hot/cold deal? Can only find it dearer than £400 but limited - doesn't seem that freely available? That and PCWorld site's been down all day.

Thanks again.

Google search suggests this one is £370.92 in Currys and PC World but with the sites being down can't see if in stock or follows through at that price. Just thought I'd mention it in case it helps.

Just to confuse things further. Some folk seem to not see past Sony Vaio. Is this one worth considering (£429 or £376 after VAT reduction and staff discount)?
