The latter is "better" but I highly doubt both can work for you.

You should use the crucial.com/uk or [url]www.kingston.com/ukroot/[/url] "memory configurators" and put in your Computer maker/model or motherboard model and see the spec of memory ideal for your computer. Buying anything else is likely to end in disaster (and a big fat hole in your wallet.... I've made a £400 mistake in the past).
board gigabyte ga p35 s3g - got 3 banks working one blue when i got new ram back form kingston and killed the bank so have 3 avaliable, board was bought from ebuyer and dont think its even a year old

so looking to get best performace out of ram and got 3.16ghz cpu 8500
