just wondering if there is much difference between the 2 playstations?

I had issues with my fat version, the Blu -Ray drive went, not had issues with slim...yet!

depends do you like them chubby? or skin and bones?

If you arent bothered id probably let price dictate, and if not much in it go for the slim.

i have had both in the last 2 weeks

fat - gets really warm
slim - the disk spins are really hard whilst loading

You can't get a brand new with Phat one anyway... so slim is the way to go only...
Got 2 Phat ones.. Going Strong

the phat 60GB is the best with 4x USB ports, PS2 game playback and mem card slots, and I think sony have removed the Install other OS option so thats it. and IMO they are not the great of advantages you can always pop a USB card reader in. BUT it is a personal decision at the end of the day. I would suggest the Slim is the way to go its smaller and feels less fragile, feels as solid as the PS2 but Im not sure I would put that to the test.
