Which is the BEST Dyson DC25 Model?

Hi, im thinking of getting one of the DC25's, but does anyone know whats the difference between all the different ones? For example on the Gadget show a few weeks back, it said the DC25 "All Floors" was a very good vacuum cleaner, but there's a lot of deals for the DC25 "animal" which is also the same price. I've also seen "Blitz Upright", "overdrive". So whats the differences between them and does anyone know which is the best DC25?

Also do you think it would be hard taking this up and down stairs?

All floors is the standard basic model, Animal is the same as all floors, but you get a mini turbine head really handy for getting up cat/dog hairs. Blitz you get a Mattress tool and is mainly from Currys, and Overdrive you get car turbine head , stubborn brush, and soft brush and is mainly from Comet, but don't take my word for it, double check what tools come with them before you buy! Other than the tools, coming in different colours, and the price, they're all the same, maybe with a few slight adjustments but nothing drastic.

As for the stairs it depends what you can carry as it is quite heavy, and if your vacuuming the stairs its pretty difficult to reach to the top as the hose is quite tight and the strain can hurt your arms. However saying that they are awesome couldn't live without mine.

Mini Turbine Head

Mattress Tool

Car Turbine Head
Stubborn dirt brush with stiff bristles
Soft dusting brush

All of them come with:
Crevice/Brush combination tool
Upholstry/Stair Tool

Theres no answer for which is best as the dyson itself is the same no matter which model you buy, It mainly comes down to which tools you would use and what price you can grab them for. Obviously the overdrive has more tools (5 in all) so if this is the cheapest or same price as the others you might be better off buying that one, you only pay extra for the tools and if you look on the dyson website they are quite expensive!
thanks very much for the info, i think i might get the animal or overdrive.
I have an all floors DC 24,i don't know if the 25 is a "ball" one and if anyone in your household has long hair then forget it,its hopeless!
yea the DC25 is a ball one and yea people do have long hair in my house!
My hair used to get stuck around the roller of my old Dyson but nothing compared to how it does on this DC24,its horrendous,i'd never recommend buying one to anyone.
what do you mean your hair gets tangled up to the ball! If so i dont think anyone in my house has hair that long.
I think deb8z means the brush bar that spins around, hair gets stuck around mine too but you just pull the brush bar out and unpluck the hair if it gets too much but you shouldn't have to do this too often. All of my previous upright vacuum cleaners have done it though, maybe deb8z hair is falling out lol =P
I'm not sure if its faulty tbh ive been using my old Dyson because it doesnt just get stuck around the roller,it trails on the floor from the roller,if that makes sense.

Stress makes my hair fall out,i'm surprised i'm not bald actually..lol

Oooo the OP is suspended.
That's strange, maybe you have that much hair falling out it won't fit in the roller lol
Wonder why OPs suspended? Can't see anything in latest comments unless they been deleted!
The roller isn't clogged up,it just doesn't seem to suck my hair up:w00t:
Sorry for the late post and re-waking this thread but I got a reply from Dyson, so I thought it is worth posting here as given non of the above answers matches this one from Dyson Customer services:

Dear Sir / Madam
I can confirm that there are no differences between the DC25 variants.
I have added below a list of accessories that each variant of DC25 have:
DC25 Animal has a Hepa filter and mini turbine tool.
DC25 Blitz has a Hepa filter, soft dusting brush, stubborn dirt brush, flexi crevice tool and a mattress tool.
DC25 Overdrive has a Hepa filter, soft dusting brush and a mini turbine tool.
DC25 All Floors has a Hepa filter but no additional accessories as standard.
So accordingly to Dyson DC25 Blitz has the most accessories.
