Well I would like to offer you some advice but the links aren't working for me.

Some info on what you want to lock up and where would be useful.

The advice given to me was to spend 10% of the value of the bicycle. That first lock is £6, so as long as your bike is not worth more than £60...

Sorry its a moped. The ebay link is in the OP as it blocks it in the normal posts. The other link should work

Got the links to work!:-D

Are you planning to take the chain with you to lock up the moped away from home? If so, then consider a light chain, as you don't want to be lugging a heavy chain round with you.

If it's to lock up the moped at home then get a heavier thicker chain, to dissuade someone from trying to steal it overnight.

Best advice is to go to a bike shop & ask them to recommend something - you don't have to buy what they offer you, you can just say thank you & go buy elsewhere.

thanks. I have just asked on a motorbike forum what people use etc.

The snake lock has a similar locking technique to my disc lock which can be picked using a normal household item so i wont be getting that lol

thanks guys
