Which mobile network should I go for?

I am currently with Vodafone (And have been with the several years even though I'm not over enamored with them) but they can't offer me what I want for the HTC Desire so I have requested my PAC code. So which network is the best for coverage and mobile internet? All the offers online are virtually the same for each network, so thats not an issue. Only considering o2, Orange and T Mobile really...Or should I just stay with Voda?!? Any help appreciated!

I imagine that you'll get phonecalls from vodafone retentions team over the next week or two, and they usually, eventually, give you what you want (as long as it's not ridiculous - like £5/month and free phone).
That's how it's always worked for me, although hasn't even got that far recently. Just speak to retentions when thinking of leaving and usually give what I want. Don't know what other's experiences are though.

Yeah, that's what's happened the last 2 times but they seem to be a bit funny with this one? Maybe it's because of the popularity of the Desire...I tried for the iphone but the same thing...

Look here to find where the best reception is near you. No point having a good deal if you have rubbish coverage near you. Sites not the most user friendly. You need to be looking out for UMTS transmitters.

Thanks! That's a really useful site!

Out of interest, what was vodas best offer on the htc desire? I'm in the same boat as you and will be making the retentions phone call next week

The best the could offer was £35 a month for 24mth contract 600mins Utd text and internet.

I wanted £30 18mth, 600, utd text and internet. (Like T mobile)

With the site Gavin linked me to, my best coverage is with O2 home and work...and they are the only ones which don't have the phone yet, so are probably going to be the dearest of the bunch...Ho Hum.
