Buying a new PC and wanting to know which is the best OS to get.

If you buy vista home premium then you get the free upgrade to Windows 7 in october,I would go for that,

Can't you download Windows 7 and use that for a while - might be able to pick up a cheap version of Vista when MS release 7.

Just use windows 7 for free then upgrade to the paid version later in the year.

its £82 with the PC you listed, A lot of people have reserved windows 7 for £49 but these deals are rare to find now ,

Actually i can get Vista home premium 32 or 64 bit with an Upgrade voucher with the system.

Which one should i get ? 32 or 64?

TBH I think you can do a better for £20 more. Look up this combo on ebuyer, much better bang for your buck and in the future you could upgrade to tri or quad processors (excluding the new 965 uses too much power).
