  Well if the One X has too big a screen then the S3 is also out.
  
  Not much choice left, iPhone has a small screen which is what it seems you want.

  Its not the screen, more the size and fear of it getting scratched in my pocket. Like to take care of my phones.

  I have a 4S on 12 month contract (since December) never had a case or screen protector and mine is still in grade A condition.
  
  Dropped once out of car and took no damage.
  
  If you treat your gadgets well they'll be in good condition.

  Just dont put anything sharp and scratchy (like a kitten) in your pocket with your phone, i have a HTC Evo - never scratched it in my pocket.

  If a One X and S3 is too big for you, have a look at the One S, it's not got the same Quad Core processor, it's only a Dual Core 1.5GHz~1.7GHz, but that is still very fast. Has all the other features of the One X, a very good camera, beats audio, HTC sense, etc.
  
  I'm not sure what else to recommend for a faster 4.3" phone, all the new faster phones seem to be all larger. :|
