I have a rubbish freeview aerial but also have unused twin connections running from a sky dish.

I know that you can get the Humax Foxsat PVR with a twin tuner to use with said connectors but are there any cheaper ones that are as good?

Also have cable (virgin) connection (unused) but don't think you can get a decent freeview pvr with cable connection without going through Virgn.

Anything labelled FreeSat+ will work with the dish and cables from a Sky+.installation.

If you can wait a while Virgin are re-launching the V+ PVR later next year. This time it's based on TiVo software so it should be good. TiVo have a large slice of the USA PVR market and are well liked over there.

Humax is the only one worth buying IMO.;-)
