utorrent is the smallest torrent program.. if you have problem with resources, i think utorrent is your best bet..

I have been thinking about it but dont think I wil use enough to warrant it tbh...

was thinking of paying the £5 occasionaly to get selected items but that would be more series than film..I really could do with watching all of Lost

why is that? Security?

I have v1.8.1 and have no problems (use peerguardian 2 as well).

It's the changeover version from when Bittorrent Inc bought them out. The later versions that i've tested are rather nasty by comparison imho. It also allows you to leech private trackers

Utorrent + EZTV.it & Releaslog.

If you are going to be downloading TV then torrents are fine but if you are after music and movies then torrent could give you some issues. For the latter two I would use Rapidshare (costs a little but is super fast) and maybe also learn how to use IRC as both these are fast and don't have the same privacy concerns.

Rapidlinks for rapidshare
XDCCing for IRC

Nerd-man away!!! :whistling:
