hi i am looking to buy a samsung 32 inch Tv and in currys came across these 2:

Samsung LE32A436T 32" HD Ready digital LCD TV for £390
SAMSUNG LE32A559P 32" HD Ready 1080p digital LCD TV - £555

i do not really understand the major difference apart from 1080p and contrast is 15000:1 compared to the cheaper one which is 10000:1

which one should i go for - and where can i find the same model with 1080p cheaper then the currys price.
thankyou

1080p on a 32" TV is not really noticeable and so doesnt justify the price difference. I wouldnt worry about 1080p unless your going for a 37" at the smallest.

I would follow john_mac83 advise as you really won't notice a difference on a TV this size..

whats the best price on the full HD 1040p - i think if it is above £500 then i will just go for the normal hd.

I have had sky hd from day one i very much doubt i would see much difference between full hd and and my plasma no point in paying more for full hd but others may tell you different but this is my view.

I wouldn't bother unless your going to get a TV with a screen of 40" or above....
