go for the lcd

any reason to make you say this?

Go for the LCD for size, weight, picture and power consumption.

isn't plasma 'better' for SD which is what the OP is asking for?

yeah i need them for distance. i can still see whats going on on the tv just everything is blurry and i cant read writing. i dont want to have to 'depend' on my glasses so dont wear them unless necessary

your eyes sound exactly like me, unfortunately if you want to see stuff you need to 'depend' on them lol

Why dont you look into possibly getting contacts if you dont like the feeling of wearing glasses etc?

its something ive been meaning to do but just havent got round to it. may just enquire next time i have an eye test as i think they have got worse again. i was wanting to have them lasered but my eyes are still deteriorating so seems a bit daft to do it at the minute.

if you dont wear your glasses then they will deteriorate, wearing them should help to level it off...I think lol

my eyesight is always 10 times worse when i take them off, they take ages to adjust back.

are you sure yours just seem worse cos youve taken your glasses off and gotten used to wearing them?
