The courses are the same to be honest. Not much difference when applying to medicine between these three.

Maybe you need to think about where you will be going on placement at the different cities. If at Aberdeen you may (presumably) be sent to Inverness or Elgin. Glasgow and Cardiff are likely to have nearer placements......also where would you like to get a job at the end of the course?

PS have you read Max Pembertons - "Trust me I'm a junior doctor"

These days yes they do go for a mix, I am registered on student forums and many look down on other people for not getting into a uni in London, or a high ranking one in the south its more a southern thing though as the Northern ones seem to be more into nightlife.

Are you applying for a medicine degree? If so then definitely aim for one that is taught in the "traditional" method i.e. lectures, and proper anatomy teaching.

I am from Glasgow, did my first degree in Glasgow and wanted to study medicine there, but I am so glad I never, I am in Aberdeen instead, not just as nice as Glasgow but the teaching is far better.
