best for us all to go back to finding happiness in simple things, like our drunk friends falling over, and commiting it to memory, not uploading it on to youtube with over priced mobile phones, lol

while its a pretty dry subject matter I'm pretty sure the fact the country is verging on bankruptcy and thousands upon thousands of people every day are losing their jobs means it is still pretty newsworthy.

Maybe you should stick to watching e4 and hope that your not caught up in the latest round of cost cutting.

Not a dig but come on.

well there is also the fact that it is down to the government also, which isn't as well publicised as the bankers. If Gordon Brown knew what the hell he was doing when chancellor, we wouldn't be up the creek with out a flameing paddle

If everyone kept their money out of the banks we wouldnae have any of this carp to worry about now would we?
I mean at the end of the day the banks play with the money of investors for their "business ventures"
#14
well the bank of england was origionaly founded on debt.

totally agree, many said at the time he hadn't a clue and it'd all end in tears. its a pity him and his new labour cronies never listened to the advice at the time.

this is why Blair stepped down, he knew what was coming so decided to leave brown to deal with the fallout

your probably not wrong.
I also wouldn't be surprised as things get worse and with an election looming fast those very same brownites that wanted blair out go scampering along with mandelson begging blair to come back like a white night and save us all, well to at least stop them all from losing their cushy seats at the next election when labour suffers its inevitable crushing defeat.
