I have just started working in a school.

Also a lot of people around me have little one's.

I just feel weird when I say I have none.

Its not weird, anyway you don't realise how easy your life is to do things without kids until you have them, then everything changes so much. You still have time yet anyway if you decide to have them.

Don't worry what people think.... I am the opposite I suppose, I had my 1st at 19 (at the time I worked in a secondary school) it didnt go down too well, with me being young, and students only a few years younger, I was told I was setting a bad example

Lots of people I know and I have worked with, have no children in 30's & 40's, everyone has different ways of life and different circumstances... if your happy dont let it get you down.

Sweetie don't worry about what others are thinking about you. Most people are too busy being self-obsessed to worry about anyone else. If people ask if you have kiddies just say " not yet! " and don't feel apologetic about it, it's a personal choice x x x

I had my first very young too, I was still at school and heard all that crap too about setting a bad example to other girls. Pooh. Let everyone make their own decisions about the world.

I explain to my daughter now.. being a Mum is not a job it's an identity, it is who I am first and foremost and this is why she is truly the centre of my world.. she and her siblings give my life meaning.

I think its a personal choice if you choose to have kids or not and when and if you choose to do so is up to you, nobody else's opinion ( except their fathers or prospective fathers ) means a damn thing. x x x

Yeah I have a son aged 11. Seriously don't be in a hurry to have kids just because others make you feel that way. Take your time and only you yourself will know when you are ready.

There isn't any wrong or right when it comes down to whether to have children or not. If any of my friends said they were never going to have children, I wouldn't think any differently of them. Some people want children at some point in their life, when they are ready, and others just don't want them, for whatever reason.

If you're happy with your bloke and you have a secure home and can seriously imagine yourself having a child to look after, then maybe it would be time to think about it more seriously. But if you're not ready, then it doesn't make you weird or any less of a person than Joe Bloggs with 4 kids

I'd say then if you're always finding reasons, then maybe now isn't the right time for you. When/if you're ready, you'll just say ****** it to what reasons you're coming up with and have one anyway and find a way of working through/around your reasons. Until then, enjoy having your tv CBeebies free :-D

Yes I'm in my 30's just and have no children and no prospect of one in the near future. All the things like work pubing and clubbing were done in my 20's so never got to it. I do think about it sometimes that I may end up leaving it too late. Had a few silly one night stands in the past but seem to have been lucky or maybe my swimmers don't work who knows.
