Okay, so I decided to do some clothes washing earlier as my wife had already put some in the machine but had been called away before she could start it.

Unbeknownst to me the last wash she did was with the dog's cushion which she did at a high temperature. The dial was still set to do the next wash at a hot temp again.

I didn't notice this and now the washing machine is currently spinning the clothes around in sweltering hot water. And now making a funny noise.

She insists its my fault for "not checking" the programme and I'm saying that I "don't need to look" as I never usually need to.

Over to you, people!

My OH says its your wife's fault.

He said that if she was the last to use it then she shoulda put it back to the setting that it's usually on, he said if he was doing the washing for me then he would have no idea about any of the settings and would expect it to be ready to go for him.

In saying that we've been together for over 6 years and I've never once seen him touch the washing machine, or dryer, or washing up liquid, hoover etc etc.

Now that I've realised this I'm off to boot him in the baws....brb.

It's my fault it's always been my fault and always will be...................yes that's correct under the thumb and proud of it:oops:

Anyway washing machines are the work of the Devil and can only be understood by people that are inherently illogical so I believe it's not your fault :)
#13
I say you are both to blame, wife should have changed it back when she finished, but you should always check just to be sure.

Good that you share the washing, need to share the blame too!

Your fault.

My mum always used to berate us(3 boys) for not putting the seat down after we had a wee.
I never understood why she didn't look before sitting down on the bare bowl.

I live on my own and only wash up every 3-4 days when I run out of plates, cups or cutlery. I nearly bought a new set of plates the other day. Then realised I'll either have to throw out the old ones or I would only wash up once a week !

OMG you put the washing machine on and she is having a go

Her fault.

This is how I see my washing machine:

Women should recognise that this is how all men see their washing machines, and accomodate us accordingly.

Ahh, but men should realise that the 'energetic wash' setting has a whole different meaning to women :w00t: :whistling:

It's your fault.
If you (men) can't understand how to use it properly, then you need to read the manual. A man probably designed this, so you should definitely be able to operate it. I think it's the biggest con of all time Men pretending not to know how to do housework.
