...then...the response from Stoke which I found VERY true and incredibly diplomatic....

bloomin long! i wouldnt be able to just hold him dude...

He is just such a muppet. What winds me up is that he is never gracious in defeat and he thinks he is above all other managers. Wenger never gives credit where it is due.

what he said was true the stoke players said before the match that they were going out to bully arsenal how they got away without having a man sent off when 4 arsenal players were injured in the match is beyond me

What's the difference between Arsne Wenger and an Arsonist?

An Arsonist doen't throw away his vital match

Since when has football been a non contact sport? Arsenals style of play is swift, quick football. Stoke favour the more robust approach.

As do Bolton and Blackburn but you do not hear managers moaning about it when they lose to them as they know how to take a defeat. Wenger is cracking under the increasing pressure of trying to keep pace with the other teams.

Did you hear Pulis moan about Van Persie or Adebayors challenge?

I agree that he doesn't seem to credit the opposition much, but he does make statements like the one about Stoke players and is normally accurate with his comments. I stand by what he's said about Stoke.

In Arsene we trust.

No. Why? Have they got three players out as a rsult of the match, for upto three weeks as well?

Their challenges were not reckless to the point that their intention was to hurt a player as they are all professional. How foreseeable was it that they would get injured? Pulis knows this as he didnt say anything about Van Persies petulant shove on their keeper and Adebayors challenge on one of their players. It isnt foreseeable a player is going to get injured from a challenge which doesnt merit a red card. Are they supposed to stand by and let Walcott stroll past without making an attempt for the ball. How about the expression "professional foul".

Arsene seems to think that everyone is jealous of the way that they play football. He is wrong as it isnt effective as he would hope otherwise they would have won the Champions League and the Premiership in the last couple of season.

You may trust him which is fair enough. He is a good manager and a great man manager but he lets himself down; therefore he needs a swift jab to put him back in his place.

Remind me again if any team had players sent of in that match?

Adebeyors wasnt a nice challenge. Walcott is a little sparrow that gets injured if someone blows on him.... and who's the other one?

when adebayor was off the field and the ball was out of play a stoke defender went through the back of him when sagna had the ball on his right foot the stoke player went through the back of his left leg studs up which is meant to be a sending off wenger was right if you didnt have player that cheat by going to take players out the league would be a lot better

Well as I am the OP, do not enter this thread. Or better still, put me on ignore! ;-)

I never once did mention that there was never enough time played in a game. My point was about the style of a teams play.

Well, I kinda did, and we had dialogue. Now that someone says something you don't like/agree with you wish to remove me from the thread?
Makes no sense to me. Reported.

No. You were the one who said that my comments were annoying you. I therefore said that if my comments are annoying you then dont enter the thread that I created. I had never asked for you to be removed from the thread. What would that achieve? I dont post because I am afraid of someones opinion. Whatever happened to a healthy debate.
Anyway, continue the way you wish. You have no grounds. Best of luck.

Yes, I did say that about your comments, eg : ...who wants to help me give Arsene Wenger a black eye?... This surely is not the comment from an adult wishing to have a healthy debate, but from one wishing to incite violence.

You may not be afraid of someone's opinion, but it's clear when you disagree or dislike the comments.

Anyway, perhaps we'll both feel differently in the morning.

I think you are looking into things way too far. Claiming I am inciting violence is a little pendantic.
As you say, hopefully we will both feel the same in the morning. I dont like falling out with someone I dont know. No hard feelings, its just a case of different opinions clashing.
Take care.
