Right well obviously West Brom and Middlesbrough (unless they score like 6 goals and hull dont win but come on eileen)

BUT

Out of Hull City, Sunderland and Newcastle - I think final days scores will be

Hull City 0 - 3 Manchester United
Sunderland 0 - 2 Chelsea
Aston Villa 1 - 1 Newcastle

Meaning newcaslte will draw with hull but will stay up due to goal diff.

I think this could be the best day ever if Newcastle win and hull win - sunderland go down ( which i think is deserved as they have been terrible this season)
If hull win , newcastle lose - newcastle go down - anything but a draw we are down but all depends on hulls score if they win and we draw we are gone and i will be watching newcastle at crystal palace next season

What do you predict

If Hull lose 3-0, Newcastle lose by any score and Boro win 2-0 that is enough for them to stay up. it's not highly unlikely for a big swing given that Hull have Man Utd.

Anyway i'd prefer Boro and Newcastle to go down.

I predict Boro to get a point from us and Newcastle to lose so they both go down regardless of the other results.

My ideal scenario would be Hull to be losing 4-0, Newcastle 2-0 and Boro winning 1-0 until the 96th minute when Cole scores a 40 yard volley to send them down.

middlesborough are down already i would say, i would prefer that sunderland went down with them but i can't see newcastle and hull both winning

middlesbrough are on 32 points with -28 goal agg
hull are on 35 with -24 agg

Unless middlesbrough score 4 or hull concede or they split it brough are still down
Hull came up made a half arsed effort gave up at christmas and deserve to go back down to whence they came - wba and brough too - id prefer for hull and newcastle to stay up and sunderland to go down but i dont have lamp

newcastle are going down, no bassong or beye and owen and martins are doubts.. no chance for me... hull might even scrape a point against a weak utd side.. its still not bad but perhaps not good enough,, heres the squad saf is taking Kuszczak, Amos, Neville, Brown, De Laet, Ferdinand, Chester, Eckersley, Simpson, Fabio, Nani, Fletcher, Gibson, Tosic, Martin, Drinkwater, Macheda, Welbeck.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Boro do stay up, out of all four Boro have the easiest match by far.

A five goal swing is nothing given that Hull are playing Man Utd (Man Utd have the second best away form in the league whilst Hull have the worst home form).

Boro are playing us, we have an injury hit team as always, Tomkins is suspended, Gabbidon and Collins are injured so we only have one fit CB. So it's going to be a make shift defence. Offensively we've been rubbish lately. We have nothing to play for.

I can't see Newcastle winning as Villa will be going all out for 5th as they know that Everton play Fulham who are competing for Europe whilst Everton will be focussing on the FA Cup final.

So;

Aston Villa 1-0 Newcastle
Hull 0-3 Man Utd
West Ham 0-2 Middlesbrough

That will keep them up and those results aren't exactly unlikely. 16/1 is all you'll get for Man Utd, Villa & Boro to win.

Still I think they'll go down

As a Newcastle fan... (Still)! I am hoping for Man U to Win. That's all I want. Then, if we don't draw or win at Villa, we really cannot blame anyone but ourselves.

I think the premiership would miss us, but Boro, Sunderland or Hull....... Not soo much!

I also love the fact that they have put the battle on Sky. I'll be nervous as Hull! (Hell) :whistling:

Let me try to explain this to you.

I love my car. It's the car I always wanted and there's not a piece of it I don't love caressing. There is nothing better to me than a sunny Sunday drive, Frank Sinatra on the radio and a beautiful girl next to me.

But if I happen to see a crumpled heap on the side of the road, it's engine caved in and the driver sat next to it balling his eyes out, I'm going to watch.

Here is a thought............................

Alex Ferguson was very unhappy at the perceived snub when Alan Shearer left Blackburn to go to Newcastle, Manchester United have a history of not trying when the title is won and Fergie would enjoy watching Newcastle and Shearer go down.

Hull to get at least a point, Newcastle to get a point and Boro to win.
#16
definately sunderland to go down!

Whoaaaa. Sunderland deserve to go down because they've had a terrible season? Thats a bit rich from a Newcastle follower!!!

Thats an interesting league to view BTW..... After 8 games, Spurs were bottom with 2 points. Meaning the following 29 games, they got 49 points! Bit of an improvement!!!!

Especially when Sunderland only came up the other season!
#19
Who ever finishes in the bottom 3 deserves to go down, simples. You shouldn't be relying on other teams results, or caring about the team they are putting out. Had our best players (Given, Milner, even sulky N'Zogbia) not been sold and replaced with utter dros. We wouldn't be in this position. The club needs a clear out top to bottom, whether we stay up or go down

I actually think it's quite sad the the North East 3 are in this postion on the final day, I'd rather Smogs and Mackems went down than us but It'd be better if we all stayed up. (which can't happen). I think it'll be Toon,Boro, WBA. Can't see us getting owt at Villa.

for the first time ever i want man u to lose,

the look on shearers face.............priceless

why cos I'm not deluded? O'Neil has said that he want's 5th place. We've won 2 times away from home all season. Why do you think the players are suddenly gonna care now? A win at home to Fulham (eve a draw) would of put them in the drivers seat, but they couldn't manage that!

fair enough but i think we have a chance of at least a draw, although next season we need at least 1/2 the team replaced

Obviously not as bad as the teams below us!

I wouldn't rely on Villa beating the barcodes. Only 6 wins at home all season & a terrible 3 month run of 1 win in the last 13 games.

I'll turn a blind eye to the disappointment of the last few months if we can win today and send Newcastle down...and if we can finish 5th it would be perfect!

However, if we roll over like we have been doing recently and get brushed aside then i will be fuming!

Ps come on Fulham do Everton for us.

Nooooo!!!! Come on Everton..... give Spurs a chance for 7th. (Though I think Rednapp has already given up the ghost of an unlikely win for Spurs at Anfield AND a defeat for Fulham at home. Their win at Newcastle last week put paid to any chance I think.

Cant wait for a bit of channel hopping today. Nothing better than seeing Football fans cry (unless its your own!!!) :p
