Hi, Mrs Moss

There's no mystery to this. People eat far more than they need to.

So true! When I'm in America I am always astounded by the size of people over there - and it's not just one or two of them either, it's 'normal' to be overweight. Ug!

and drink too much, far too much.

Poor diet... fat too many turkey twizzlers, mcdonalds, crisps & fizzy pop...

The reason why 5 year olds wear glasses like bottle bottoms...

sweeping generalisation dont you think, now if you'd asked why the sky is blue or the grass is green you may have got a definitive answer (until some smartass says the sky isnt always blue ) :-D

like how more and more people now "need" to use the electric scooter thingys to shop

*this comment is for solely obese people not those with genuine conditions not through eating themselves to death.

Technically, the sky itself isn't blue. It's colourless (I think).

Technically, it can emit whatever colour depending on the colour of the sun..

(Boo! for Opera 10 saying my spelling of coloUr is incorrect!)

The sky is still blue, its the clouds in that pic are different.

Probably because people are so lazy, prime example when I was a kid we walked to school, I walk the school run, unless the weather is absolutely hideous, everyday I run the gauntlet of 4x4's dropping the kids off, we live in a tiny village people can't ever be anymore than 15-20 min tops walk from the school, mainly about 10 and only a handful of people walk their kids, shocking I tell ya :p

Jeremy Kyle starts at 9:30 if they walk they'll miss the first bit.

I agree - I occassionally meet a teacher friend of mine and the streets are packed with fat parents picking their fat kids up in cars.

Obviously that's not true for all of them and you'll get the milfs picking up their kids after a gym session occasionally, but there are some real chunky mothers out there.

Sky is blue because of the way light is defracted through the atmosphere and grass is green because it gets its colour from the pigment chlorophyll

People are fatties for a pretty simple reason, the formula is "dinners > exercise = put on weight" or "dinners < exercise = lose weight". Some people find it easier than others but it really is that simple. Oh and lately we (I say we, I mean the Labour goverment) are really pandering to the lazy, work shy, credit abusing population. We are actually devolving because no longer is it survival of the fittest, its lets take everything away from the fittest and reward the slow, fatter, stupider population for being so.

Not a massive fan of most fathers who pick up their kids at 3:30 - either a lazy sofa lumberer or a 'committed, loving father'. Either way, not my bag.

The milfs on the other hand usually have the time to work out during the day and are handy for no-strings fun.

I've really got it down to a science.

This is why they stopped using 'imagine' as a basis for law and facts.

Yeah, I've been a few times........ I was just thinking that seeings as America is such a massive (again.... no pun intended ) place, having 5 times the population of the UK the actual percentage of 'fat' people would be lower than over here. Obviously it's not though :)

tbh in New York and Chicago I didn't think it was any different to say London or Birmingham.
