to be fair i think GAME is a rip off. You cant have a go at ASDA on release nights they are usually the cheapest around IMO... Its the same with game/gamestation shops. sometimes they have good offers sometimes they dont.

For in store prices they're not too bad - most of the time they're still cheaper than Game / Gamestation / HMV
#3
they must pay more for them as demand must be low
#4
I find Morrisons is always the cheapest for Wii games,
#5
Perhaps they've only had BOGOFs?

ive had a few from morrisons on the wii games when they were £15 but recently everywhere has been awful! Including Asda on game release day.

the large tesco store nr me has pretty cheap cds and dvds - the games prices on the other hand, shocking, esp when they are such a big company and buy bulk

None of the markets sell everything cheap - it would not pay off.If you pay little money for one thing, you will pay premium price for the others.
The markets spend a lot of money and time to make sure that customer's perception is the 'right one' :) - the one that will bring the highest profit ...

how come I think of ASDA as an American owned cesspit inhabited by sub-moronic, window lickers?

oh, and the most evil corporation in the world.

I find Asda is cheap for games not in the topten, today i was lookin at the wii games in the asda living Leeds and there was loads at £15. They normally hav at least 2 titles on offer in stores

Yup, it's understandable why asda don't sell them cheap, what confuses me is why dedicated game sellers like Gamestation, steam and impulse are so expensive.

It does have occasional good deals (although L4D was more just bringing it down to the price it should have been released at) but most 'deals' just bring games down to the price everyone else is selling it for and most normal prices are more expensive than other places.
