Why are there no honest people left in this Country???

£0.00 @
Have left a bag behind at the checkout in Asda today with a new top and receipt in it, worth £20, no one has handed it in, I'm really gutted. I honestly think I would have handed it in.

I am honest.

Sorry to hear this has happened to you.

That's the problem this day and age - people take what they can - they could take the bag, and receipt to customer services next day and refund it and be even more quids in.
#4
Maybe someone just picked it up along with their other shopping and didn't notice at the time. Try again tomorrow
#5
I would have thought most people would just happens they didn't, have been told to ring back in the morning but if its not made its way to customer service after a few hours can't see that it ever will.

shouldn't have left it behind then. it's your fault no one elses!
Its like saying:
"oh i left my foot on the accelorator and travelled 20 mph over the speed limt and killed someone - oh i thought they would have anticipated my stupidity and moved!"
don't post crap on here or expect to get crap replies. you fudged up so deal with it and stop blaming other people for your stupidity and lack of memory!

I paid on my next account card so they can only exchange but still can go and choose something else. I will have to settle the bill next month when it arrives :x

I left a whole sunday roast in Asda the other week!! did my weekly shop and the till person threw a load of carrier bags on my bagged up chicken and veg, so i ended up leaving it behind. At least that's the only explanation i can come up with.

I keep thinking wish it had been my bag of food shopping as it cost less.

Did you contact the supermarket to ask them ? Then again the next shopper probably helped themselves.

it is only bothering me more as I am surviving on piddly JSA and bought it to cheer me up,shopping is my passion which i am unable to fullfil at the moment.
#21
Check the terms and conditions of your account some credit cards such as visa have protection for this type of thing.

I would've done the right thing.

I would have taken the top and the receipt back to the shop, and accepted the £20 finders fee:whistling:

I phoned Asda and no one had handed it in. Your top might turn up tomorrow if someone picked it up by accident.

No finders fee...she payed on a card.
#25
lolages

dont leave your shopping behind.

Lesson learnt
#26
Hopefully someone just picked it up by mistake at the end of their shop and will take it back next time they go back.
It did remind me of when my mum thought she had left behind a packet of chicken thighs at Tesco as when she unpacked the car she couldn't find them. Days later on the school run the car started to smell - we blamed my brother, but as the days progressed the smell got worse. After well over a week we removed the dog-bed covering the carpet in the boot and found them...green and I will not forget the smell. Ugh.
I hope your top turns up.
#27
I would have handed it in. Easy mistake to make when rushing, I have done it when have young 'uns with me and they are whinging and so I am rushing.

WTF to the person who likens leaving some shopping in a store and somebody else taking it to speeding? You have issues.
#28
I was in Tesco last week and noticed a single pack of Wine Gums and mentioned that someone had left them! lol didnt see the point of taking something not mine.
#29
I'm honest, and I can prove it - just send me £100 & I'll send it back:whistling:

Sorry to hear about your loss, I'd have told the cashier. Maybe it's taking its time getting from the cashier to his/her supervisor to the customer desk?
#30
maybe just maybe you might get your top back and hopefully with some bonus rocking horse ****

Ok this is strange to say the least, I can confirm that I have read that exact replay somewhere before (Not recently)

Now this can mean a few things including :

1. I am psychic and have seen a part of this depressing future.

2. You are a troll and have posted this before on another thread (Maybe a while ago)

3. Pure coincidence

4. I am mentally ill

5. Mini horse
