Why do American's finish every sentence with a question?

They are mostly dumb ones but they lift their tone at the end to make the sentence sound like they don't know what they are talking about.

As above, it's an Australian thing, not American.

Either way it's annoying.

Why do people put apostrophe s on the end of a word thinking that makes it a plural when just an s is needed?


Why do people insist on using as little punctuation as possible, even though it makes the sentence substantially harder to read?
