they bought it first and they brought it home

no, a lot of people just say things like " i brought a game yesterday"

There is loads of examples on this forum, just something that annoys me and it shouldn't really :)

oh and i'm not saying everyone does it

Isn't it 'bought', if youve paid for something e.g. I bought a PS3, but isnt brought when you bring something along e.g. i brought my frisbee to the park?????
