+1 yes it is rude and annoying
#2
do you think little johnny ends up with a lot of dvds?
#3
Because some people are just selfish and have no manners?!

lots more of this occurring recently I have noticed, especially with the noobs.

So selfish!
#5
+1 totally agree. there's nothing worse than a noob making one post asking for help with something then just ignoring all the replies
#6
Yep, it winds me up, it doesn't take long to type "thanks"!!

yea a thank is least they should manage, and a rep would be nice too
#8
Just saying "thanks daddio" is good.
#9
Yes it happens a lot and its one of my pet hates also the ones that ask can somebody to ring up so & so and check stock etc etc.

I mentioned the exact same thing on a thread recently, you're lucky if you even get an acknowledgement from some let alone a thank you that you've taken your time to help them.

It's always happening on deal requests.

Because this is the way many people are brought up these days

Rude and ignorant

Not really bothered about rep, but it would be nice to know you have been helpful, and lets face it most of these requests just take a quick google, so i suppose if they can't be bothered to do that then there is no chance of a thank you .

It's particularly annoying when it's not just a quick google, but a trawl through your own info to give the OP personal advice - often because the OP says something like, 'Yes I know I can google but I want your own informed input', or 'Can you tell me more about this?'.

Then not only do they not say 'thank you'; they don't even return to the thread, as ^^^. It quite irritates me.:x

Oh and 'please' would be good too.

I posted a similar thread about how people never give rep for helping or say thanks, and got banned for 3 days initially, later reduced to 2 for "rep begging". :?
