There was so much olive oil being applied in his recent series that I considered seeing what share options were available!

I also noticed this, OLIVE OIL, SALT, PEPPER & CHEESE, I don't think I've seen anything he's cooked without all of these in a dish!

Because olive oil is healtheir and more versatile than alternatives and it gives a scrummy flavour IMO.

The girl's right...olive oil is awesome.

Jamie Oliver was taught a lot of his cooking by Gennaro Cantaldo - another Italian chef. I dare say it's something that got passed on...

Was this the recent series on Spanish or Italian cooking - you know, there they use Olive oil a lot in their cooking?

They do, it's true...but it's probably cheap as chips over in them countries...not the £4 per litre rip off we have here...

It is, my lad was home from Spain recently where he's been living for several years and he was using chit loads.

I told him to go easy its dear to use like that and as I use it for everything I cook i had no plans of running down to shop to spend another fiver.

He looked at me laughing going 'what olive oil expensive, it can't cost a fiver' and he was serious.

Apparently they do only pay pennies for it out there.
