£0.00 @ Panasonic
The sammy ad with the LED bird flying about. It surely discourages Panasonic plasma users from even thinking of changing ???. Why.....???

Speaking of Panny plasmas, what do you think of the TXP42X10B? Worth £600?

Must admit I have always wondered the point of advertising tv's with better screens on the tv....as the screen (on the one advertised) will obviously only be shown as good as the current tv can display :?

The same with the sky hd adverts as they look great on the sd feed through virgin media.

The 200 hours run in thing is pretty much a fad.

I never noticed any significant difference after this magical 200 hour period.

To the OP - pop into Currys and check out the LED panel in the flesh, they are pretty impressive it must be said - and the black levels just blow away my Pana plasma.

i found the black levels on the samsung 7000 series 40" LED we have instore to be very blue-ish at times.
bright colours, animation looks awesome, SD TV looks as much the same as any LCD.

My question - Does it NEED the 200 hour burn in? I dare say we'll not notice much different to be honest, but it's more to ensure that we don't damage it or something through extended use too early @)
