Wifi Internet on TV?

OK, i'm poss looking to sell the Wii but my hubbie likes the fact he can surf on the internet (wifi) via the Wii on the TV that's in our bedroom.

So, if i sold the Wii, is there any box or something i can connect to the TV which will then pick up the wifi in the house, for us to surf the net??

I do recall someone did a "box" a while ago but this wasn't wifi enabled?

Sorry if it's a dumb question!!

Something like a Revo would work, plus you could install xbmc and use it as a streamer. Of course it's more expensive than a Wii though.......

Keeping the wii is probably the cheapest option unless you need full pc capability lik the acer revo.

Yes - look on your 'channels' - you might need to download through the shopping channel - its been a while since I did it. The best thing about the wii is being able to watch bbc iplayer on the big screen. I use it loads.

Stick Boxee (free, opensource) on a cheap miniATX PC. The Revo's are cheap enough.

They will have a 'Boxee Box' on sale within the next few months, will be selling for around $200, so should be pretty cheap in £'s.

I have Boxee installed on a miniatx PC, I use it as my main 'TV' as we get crappy antenna signal here. I have uTorrent installed with a web interface to I can download legal torrents straight to my TV. Also use the PS3 remote with it via a bluetooth dongle.
