Hi

I have just replaced my Wifi router (a bt voyager 2110) with a new one a BT 2700HGV home hub. My usb dongle on my pc is really poor, can I use the old modem as a wireless access point?

Thanks

Pete

Not sure about using the old modem , but can you not just fit a ethernet cable between the router and the PC? That's if they are close enough . It's just you'll get a faster speed [ upto 100mbps] as oposed to Wi-fi [ 54mbps ]. I still use wi-fi on my laptops but have my main PC plug in using network cables for faster download speeds.

No it's too far but thanks for replying. I have 3 old routers now maybe one of the other can be used as a bridge. I'll fine out what they are.
