Wii Component cable advice please..

Hi, so I just got a HDTV, time to get a component cable, so i got a £3 one from ebay, though the picture is definatly better, i can see fuz / noise on top of the picture (more noticable on black/white screens with nothing on)..

But im not happy with it, tried it on another LCD tv and its definatly the cable, so im thinking in this case, you definatly get what you pay for..

My question is has anyone had a good experience with a Wii component cable, if so, which one, was it branded, how much it cost, and where did you get it??

Rep button awaiting all that feel the need to offer their experience on the matter..

thanks in advance guys/gals..

I've had both and the official one was miles better.
I know others will say they noticed no difference, but my component cable for the wii has been faultless for over 2 years now.

Trouble is even the official one will show jagged lines, fuzziness, CRT TV's as you know will blur off these an LCD highlights the deficiency of it not really being an HDTV connection but EDTV.

Not like your component on your 360 which appears crystal clear or should depending on how much ghosting your cable/360/HDTV generates.

You may find getting another wii component cable clears up the dot crawl / fuzziness your getting but you might find it's the same. Try adjust sharpness on down on that input @ tv level to see if you can live with that.

dot crawl is exactly it, i dont get that on scart..

not bothered about resolution / jagged lines, its 480p lol, but the dot crawl is annoying..

you tried 576i as well I think PAL ones do that been ages since I switched mine on with HDTV. Mines on a 21"" flat screen toshiba crt as I prefer it that way.
