It's surprisingly good, my wife loves the Yoga, I quite likes the skiing and the kids love the hoolahoop, but we have only used it for an hour. BUT the only complaint, is it made my Mii fatter and me obese!!!!!

Me legs are killing me!

Its good! But I can see the novelty wearing off slightly, unless your keen to keep fit! Bear in mind, this is the first time me playing it, so as I play more, it could get more interesting!
#5
Everyone who has been using it is so knackered they are in bed already, cursing the day that gaming turned into - horror! - exercise.

I'm a bit disappointed in mine. You have to play loads to unlock the games, which I find irritating. Also, not sure why, but find it a little bit boring, I guess after all the hype I was expecting something a little more interesting - and after paying £69.99 expected to get something I really enjoyed.

I did a few online ones - WHSmith cancelled the order, sendit ran out of stock, choicesuk haven't kept in contact but it shows stock on order, another one i can't remember but they cancelled it too, but the only one which came through for me was gamestation for £69.99 so all others cancelled - or at least I hope they are cancelled. I was thinking of getting two so I could do 2 player games if it was amazing, but no way now.
Who did you get your one from for £40 delivered, I'm impressed (if not a little jealous!)

I suppose I should add that I'm not a real fitness person, I'm 'underweight' according to the BMI but haven't done one iota of sports or fitness training in years and I guess I thought this would talk me through it and encourage me and maybe even make it enjoyable. I think I expected it to be a bit more gamey and fun. It could well be that I'm tired and in a bad mood and will enjoy it far more tomorrow!!
I love my food and eat like a fatty but can't put weight on. I don't have great health so thought it might help me to gradually get fitter and put some pounds on.
Maybe if I found a way to unlock the hidden games and it had a more varied and interesting spectrum of games I'd like it more.

My OH - who played it lots in Japan earlier this month - says that it's a bit like exercising at the gym; no fun on your own but lots of craic with a few friends.

I think you're right, get a crowd of you and it could be a laugh. Especially with some wine on hand.
Plus I was a bit rubbish at it which always puts me off a game/thing if I can't do it well within 5 minutes.
Still not seeing why I forked out £69.99 for it. I fell for the hype. Silly me. Again.

Found out earlier that I'm getting one, my grandad pre ordered from two places for some reason, and both turned up, so he's giving one to us.

Is 1 for your grandad?
My Mum saw it on T.V yesterday and wants a go when she comes round to mine next.

Well i have worked up a weat in about 40 mins, I was surprisingly good at the musl building. My wife is putting her share of effort in, snoring away on the sofa. The kids love it though!
#21
i think it's ace tbh
It's better than i thought it was, the muscle workouts are really good, press ups are a definite work out!
I think it's a good way to keep progress of how fit your getting rather than being the one thing you use to get fit.
i like the jogging to and the ski jump, the jogging relies on keeping a steady pace whilst running and the ski jump is brilliant for balance. Really enjoying it so far, making me love the wii again
#22
I cannot jump over the leg clamp on the tightrope, i know you have to press down with your feet and extend your knees, but i keep jumping off into the sky and below? do you have to be dead straight up?

Ski jump is great, but not sure how long the interest will last?

Anyone got any good deals on deodorant? Mines not working after trying all the options on this.

I HATE the gym so although not as good - although better as you can have a ciggie whilst doing the games - it's interesting.

£70 better spent on this than a gym that I never use. Even if I only use for 8 weeks then still cheaper.

Jogging great - except I get black eyes from the size of my b oo b ies. Hula hoop is brill, balancing games is harder than they look and others are testing for couch potatos like me,
#24
I liked the fact that it gave me a fitness age as 5 years younger than I am, but I really do think its overpriced and overrated.

It can be quite funny to watch a 40 year old fat bloke using it though (oh yes, and if you are overweight, your little wii person is made fatter which is a nice touch LOL!)

For those that haven't got one yet, don't worry you're not missing out on much really IMHO
#25
We love it in our house. All had a go and had a great laugh doing it,mainlly at my expense with me being in my 40`s overweight and totally unfit.Woke up this morning with back ache(hoola hoops) and feet aching(jogging) if you are unfit like me any excersise is better than none and this is a both excersise and a laugh. Can you just buy the board?
#26
I think it's absolutely brilliant!

Me and my husband are competing like mad in the Balance games - so far I'm doing the best on the Heading and Ski Slalom, and he's winning the others (hmph!)

I'm really enjoying the Yoga section, and love the way it shows you exactly how to do them.
#27
I've played it for an hour and fifteen minutes (worth of exercise) and i can feel my muscles aching this morning. I was pretty impressed by the muscle workouts and yoga - you candefinetely feel the burn if you do them correctly.

I think wii fit will simply help you get into the mindframe of exercising. According to it, I have an ideal BMI but would like to get slightly more toned. Combine wii fit with a bit of weightlifting and I'm pretty sure in a couple of weeks i'll see the difference from doing 40-60min a day.

Then, to unwind, I play gta 4 ;)
