Wii - I need some buying help please ...

Looking to get a Wii for Christmas & thinking of buying the Game bundle of wii & Mario Kart at £179.99
Then getting Wii Play from somewhere (amazon / pc world about £28) to get extra controller

Questions I need help with...

:? Do I need some kind of docking charger thingy for the remotes?

:? Do I need to buy the covers for the remotes or are they included? Or can you get them free (sure I read something about this on here)

:? Do I need an extra wheel for the Mario Kart (so kids can do 2 player - haven't seen game) & if yes where is cheapest?

Thanks for any help you can give me
:)

Docking charger saves on batteries, they run down quite quick

covers are included in the newer consoles

and yes extra wheel needed.

you dont need a dockin charger for the remotes but they are worth having cause they recharge the batteries between use to save havin to keep replacing them.

With the new wiis the covers are included but personally i take them off cause dont like em

masrio kart u can play with wiimote without wheel but the wheel makes for better game play http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500001151&langId=-1&searchTerms=wii+wheel

Do you know how much a docking charger should be - argos have one at £19.99, but that just seemed quite a lot & the game ones seem to be about £30 ...

Hi. Its not a necessity to buy a docking station but they do look nice. I didnt have one, I just bought a USB Battery charger with rechargeable batteries for a tenner and they worked a treat.

You should get a silicon remote skin with package as its standard in all the packages I have seen and the one I got.

You dont really need the wheel accessories but it does help if you have some type of wheel accessory to place the remote to aid the mad driving! Which is the purpose of most of the shell accessories alike but I'm sure you will love it, its a great interactive games console, if only the xbox360 had the Wii factor then I'd be in heaven! Cheers.

omg i hope they dont go up, its mainly wana leave it nearer for warranty purposes, it seems a waste to buy now to sit in cupbard for 3 months

i leave mine on standby anyways cause its connected to the wireless and installs its updates and stuff while on standby, maybe not so great for the electric bill and all but hey ho, it also automatically puts itself in standby rather than off when u hit the power button on the wiimotes, and can be woken up by hitting the remote rather than havin to hit the console switch every time.
Plus if your gonna have the dock plugged into charge anyways it may as well be via the wii!

I know what you mean about when to buy it, but the Mario bundle looked a good option ... I know there are loads more of them this year, but just thinking about how hard they were to get hold of last year makes me stress!
