Hi - I'm in the process of hooking my wii up to go on-line. So far I have installed my wireless router and on the wii have located the wifi (in my case Orange). When I attempt the final step it asks me for a password. Is this the network key? If so how do I obtain the network key because each time I go through and eneter in my home netwrok name it fails and gives me an error code (sorry at work so can't recall what the error code was) Any thoughts anyone? Cheers

your network key the wii is asking for is the security key for logging onto your secure network

Network key is the WEP or WPA access code when a new machine wants to log on to your wireless network.

If you have not manually changed or configured this then it is likely that it is printed on the underside of your wireless router.

Thanks for the help guys. How do I manually change or config the network key. Is it through Control Panel on the home pc that the router is attached to? Is this something different to the netwrok name? Thanks again

On the internet type in the address bar http://192.168.1.1 you will then be asked for username and password both of these are Admin and Admin, you will then be able to change your password

To connect your Wii first you have to press the number 1 button on your livebox ,This puts the livebox into pairing mode for ten minutes giving you enough time to connect your Wii,then when you are asked for a network key you type in the WEP key that is written underneath your livebox,Once paired the wii will connect automatically evry time you use it,It is possible to change the WEP key by going into the livebox setup menu as i described earlier, This way you can use a key that is easier for you to remember,
