Wii & PS3 Question?

Hello to everyone out there,,, thanks for having a look at this..

I have a Wii and PS3 and 1 external Hard drive.... does anyone know if there is a way of connecting the Hard drive to BOTH consoles at once? So you don't have to keep swapping the cable about..

I have had a quick look online and found a Belkin 2x1 USB Peripheral Switch - USB peripheral sharing switch - 2 ports - USB BUT that needs software on a pc to work.. and as this is just for the consoles I don't think it will work....

Anyone got any ideas?

cheers

Would you set up a partition for the Wii? as i has to be formatted in a weird way. I have a 1tb hard drive for my WDTV and am thinking of adding another one, would be great if i could use some of it for the Wii also

thank you all so far for your quick responses,,

Tazzer:- thats the sort of thing.. I am looking for have now found USB "manual" Switch Box,, that seems to be the sort of thing I need but they all look so 80's..

loll1es:- Nope thats no good unfortunately, as I need it the other way round if that makes sense,, 1 standard usb "socket" to the square socket found at the other end of the USB cable.

sancho1983:- exactly what i have done i have a 1tb drive split down the middle 1 section FAT32 2nd section WBFS, depending on what you are using on your Wii i.e usb loader gx. the latest version now allows Fat32 so no need to split drive.!

the hunt goes on :o
