Will a surge protector work in this scenario?

Hi all,

Can some one tell me please, if I plug in an extension reel into the wall which has a 4 way surge protector plugged in the other end, will the surge protector still protect things that are plugged in to it?

Cheers,

Happysteveo.

Yup thats the whole point of it, the surge protector detects voltage spikes from your plug socket and stops the power to anything plugged into it within 1 nano second :)

cool, cheers jonny. I just wasn't sure if it would still work if it was plugged into an extension instead of directly in to the wall like normal.
