as the title. fed up with it, male cat keeps peeing everywhere not mine by the way, keeps getting in the house as well, so if I caught it and it has no tags to say who it belongs to do the vets still neuter them for free, dont know what else to do with it as there is know way of knowing who the owner is, but I am fed up cleaning the pee of the kids toys/the car/the front door etc!

#3
costs around £70 and u can't just neuter a random cat!
#4
If you can, spray it with water from a hose or bottle as many times as you can.........it will get the message.
............and no, the vet will not do that for you, its not yours

yes smart cat figured out that if it comes in at the same time as one of mine it can get in, as they have magnets on their collars, tried the water thing

do it your self if you goofle it you can download instructions on how to do it.:-D
#7
Cats Protection will give Vouchers so I am told for neutering although its not you cat so you can't but in the mean time use Surgical Spirt in water and spray on items as that will stop the cat spraying and remove the smell
#8
write a note and attach it to a collar...hopefully the owners will read it and sort it, otherwise secure your house.....it would be out of order for you to neuter the cat....he isnt yours!!!

its £40 just had my 2 done, its a real pest driving me mad
#10
Catch the cat and attach a message to it's collar asking the owner to contact you, if it's not wearing a collar write the message in lip stick / tip ex depending on the colour of the cat.

ide stop using your cat flap for a while, spray at it every time it comes near the house, it will stop eventually
#13
If it has no tags or id can you not take it to an animal shelter & say that you think it's been abandoned?
#14
yeah i agree try and put a note on the cat somehow

i personally think its 'out of order' what the cat is doing, as a responsible cat owner they should be neutered

i personally think its 'out of order' that you want to give someone elses pet an operation without their consent!

just take the cat flap off then, im sure the cat aint doing it out of spite, and you sound a bit mad wanting to give other peoples pets operations, its a little drastic just take the cat flap out/turn it off whatever

I am sorry, and I do not own cats, nor do I have any annoying cats in my neighbourhood but there is no requirement that as a responsible cat owner you MUST neuter your cat....what if the cat is used for breeding? Perhaps the cat hasnt done anything like this around the owners house and how are they to know he is doing it to someone elses????
You want to know what I would do?
I would write a note and attach it safely to the cat....then I would close the cat flap for a while and actually get off my ass to let the cats in/out when they want. I would spray the offending cat with water if I saw it.

There is no way I would ever consider giving someone elses animal an operation unless absolutely necessary (eg found injured animal)

you cannot go and neuter someone elses cat, so you need to find out who it belongs to, if you think its a stray phone up the cat helpline or whatever they call it, cats that are continually sprayed dont tend to come back after a while, so you obviously aint spraying it, we have loads round here, none come into my garden much, as i pssstttt really loud at the filthy gits, and whilst we at it, i bet your cats shat in every other persons garden, cause they certainly dont shat in their own

think I will try that with the note on the cat, as for the cat flap I use it as I am not at home all the time, we have 3 cats so better for them to be able to get in for food/water when they need to especially in the colder weather - nothing to do with me being lazy thanks:roll:

well if it was my house smelling I would think locking the cats out for a few days would be worth it to get rid of the cat pee, cats can go a few hours without food/water lol!!!....again, if it doesnt come in and do it while youre there how do you know its this one??? :? never said you was lazy

so your first thought was to give the cat an operation before being rational and putting a note on it :?
