I'm tempted to reserve a copy of the PS3 versions of Fifa 10 and Call Of Duty: MW2 at the cheapest place online.

However i remember doing this with Fifa 09 only to find out Asda and Tesco decided they would drop their prices and they could be snapped up in-store on release day for cheaper.

Anyone thinking they will have another price drop this time round? Or any insider info?

I'm thinking of just biding my time till release day comes.

They always do so can't see why not. Either way you have no lose from the situation, you might have to wait a day or two.

yes they do it every year with most big name releases
they usually advertise the price in national papers a few days before release:thumbsup:

anyone know what the current cheapest preorder price is for fifa 10?

been wondering this myself too. Also been wondering will anywhere be doing a midnight release, like game. No 24 hour supermarkets close by so thats out.

i pre-ordered mine from tesco, they do 20% off pre orders.
got fifa and cod mw2 for about £68 for both.

think it was £32 for fifa and £36 for cod mw 2 - not a bad deal considering the rrp of cod mw 2.

I think they will with Fifa but I doubt COD since it's recent price increase and the huge demand that it will have, plus the way COD4 retained it's price for so long, unlike games like Fifa which drop in price relatively quickly after release as the next one is out the year later.

Whats the delivery like though? Alot of game specific stores have a pre-order guarantee.
