lol,and maybe you should get a sense of humour!

good heads up-probably be another snorefest as usual-these games have such hype around the build up,but for a neutral they are usually dreadful.

Tonypop. Can you explain why "the green brigade" were denied tickets for ibrox?

Is it because they are morons who can't be trusted to shut up for 60 seconds to honour the 66 souls who perished on stairway 13?

I hope Celtic fans do respect the 66 who died. The Average age must have been around 20 Years old.

They better. There will be plenty trouble if they don't.

I watch most football but find the quality of the football in the SPL poor and dull.

Careful RFC you may be branded a bigot for that. I can only imagine totty pickers is bigotted as it discriminates against spuds.

'Totty pickers' is a term used by Rangers fans to describe Celtic fans, as the club was evolved from Irish roots, and thereby referencing the Potato Famine in Ireland where around 1 million people died. It's considered funny by Rangers fans, but the flip side of the coin is that Rangers fans get enraged if people make unsuitable comments about the Ibrox Disaster where 66 Rangers fans died.

How can one wee joke about 1 million starving to death be ok? On the other hand several people getting bent up about the prospect of some idiots shouting during a moments silence. I have a sense of humour and I myself could laugh at just about any joke, but only if the other side can too.

Seriously, I'm not going through all this nonsense again. Cut out all the bile and stick to banter. Your references are much more sinister and won't be tolerated.

come on guys ffs-its a FOOTBALL match! And yes,I live in glasgow and am well aware of the associations this game has for both sides, but its 2011 now-anyone who thinks this game is about religion,or ancient Irish history really needs to take a good look at themselves.

The people on BOTH sides who think its about religion have never seen the inside of a church their entire lives. My uncle was at Ibrox on the day the 66 died-he wasnt on stairway 13,not involved in the crush, but he has never attended a sporting event of any sort since,he was so traumatised. Just imagine having the life crushed out of your lungs with the inability to even shout for help because you cant breathe-this is not a matter to make light of in the name of being a "supporter"-equally,the Irish potato famine has NOTHING to do with football.

The players themselves socialise together and are generally on very friendly terms away from matchdays-surely its time the fans did the same?

That's the whole problem barky. There are many on both sides who can't let go of the religious diatribe, and in fact thrive on it. It's all about the inbreeding.
