Two to the left from space bar. Not sure if this is what you meant, but if it says windows button + up press that and up. A lot easier than dragging it

The worst thing they ever did was remove the option to have a quick launch bar at the side of the screen!

thanks but already done that. My point was that you cannot then drag the toolbar to the left hand side of the screen so it fills the entire left hand side of a screen like XP & Vista does.

Basically, QL now consumes valuable taskbar space which is a massive backward step.

And why oh why dont they put the UP ONE LEVEL arrow back in to windows explorer?

not much use when you have long folder names and dont like explorer fully maximised

I just dont see any reason for its removal (common windows vista/win7 user complaint along with QL docking removal)

just press windows key + E and drag window to the left of the screen

repeat but drag to the right

also, just double click the window to reinstate it to where it was

also, shake the window to minimise ALL other windows except the one you are on.

Windows button + D - useful to minimise everything and press again to make everything reappear
Ctrl, Shift + Esc - will take you straight into task manager

or just click the SHOW DESKTOP rectanglular bar in very bottom right hand corner
