Hi guys, I'm trying to sort my mum out with a good email app as she is getting 60 or so spam messages a day. And she doesn't want to change her address. I am on mac so no idea what's good to use for windows these days. Any ideas? Thanks in advance :)

The best spam filters are on the mail server not in the client side software. You can create a junk senders list within most email clients but it doesn't help that much. If she gets the amount of spam you are talking about it's definitely worth changing her address. I never get any spam with my Gmail account.

PM me if you want a free invite.

Hi greg, thanks for the advice. My mac mail app works well for filtering out spam into a junkmail folder and I think I'm after something similar for windows. It won't stop it but it'll make it a bit easier to manage. Wish we could just change the address but its not really an option. I've got a gmail address as well and I agree - it does do well on that end of things.

Thanks for the heads up - I have been having the same problem. Tried this and it looks fantastic. My boss gets about 200 Viagra type e-mails a day. Looks like this will reduce (pardon the pun) this amount drastically. Is quite easy to set up and you can download themes too.
