Windows Media Player could not complete burning because the disc is not compatible with your drive. Try inserting a different kind of recordable media or use a disc that supports a write speed that is compatible with your drive

.
Burning a video recorded on a camcorder

Help... what does this message mean, and what do I have to do about it... thanks

How old is the media? Are you trying to burn a DVD in a CD writer

That could be the problem.. although not sure .. I have burned dvd on this comp before using Nero 7... but just want a basic copy... the disk after this message plays but the sound is speeded up...?

Got to make 37 copies of the school play for my class before Fri.. ouch

Use imgburn, why are you using media player, it's crap enough with music nevermind burning disks.
Tried that but it said "calibration area is full"... no idea what that means either..
