If I have both wireless and LAN connected, which one is actually receiving data, or is it both? I been trying to figure this one out for ages.

Just disable one of them and see if you stay connected, you can aslo see on the status of the network connection how much data is being sent and received

you have created a network bridge and the one with the best metric values will be used primarily, although this is dependent on the routing protocol in use, ie RIP or OSPF
