Please clarify what you want, I'm confused by that sentence not enough information. Do you want wireless broadband at home, or do you want it on the move say in the middle of a field? There is WIFI (very fast, need to be near a base station, train station, airport etc) and then there is 3G wireless (painfully slow and dependant on mobile network coverage)

I'm sure that o2 sim is for 3g not wifi . The modem you pointed to is 3g not wifi. I pay £20 per month for unlimited 3G internet on my phone but thats with a load of minutes and texts. If its wifi you want then you'll just need a wifi dongle or PCMCIA card plugged into your laptop and a 5th of the price. If you need to use it at home though you'll need a wireless broadband connection via a wireless router installed by one of the phone companies. 3g internet can be painfully slow if you live in a bad signal area as it drops to 2G which is less than dial up speed.

30 day cancellation

http://shop.o2.co.uk/sim-only-simplicity

online 20
600 mins
1000 texts

add the web bolt on for unlimited 3G access, but it excludes laptop use in the terms and conditions

also point 3 says

O2 Web & Wi-Fi Bolt On Terms

3. .....
You may not use your SIM Card in any other device or use your SIM Card or iPhone to allow the continuous streaming of any audio / video content, enable P2P or file sharing or use them in such a way that adversely impacts the service to other O2 customers. If O2 reasonably suspect you are not acting in accordance with this policy O2 reserves the right to impose further charges or disconnect your tariff at any time, having attempted to contact you first.

I've only just noticed the P2P bit as i've been using Symtorrent, guess I better stop.

so to round everything up, you can't use that SIM card in a 3G modem under O2's terms and conditions sorry.

Wasn't that tariff £25 not so long ago? It's not to shabby! I'm on a rolling contract with them anyway so it should only take a quick switcheroo.
Thanks for the info.
