Wireless/Cordless Headphones - what to look for?

Am thinking of having some for my birthday. I know I want wireless, and rechargeable, but other than that - don't know what to look for. What's good? How do they actually work (as in do I plug something into my headphone jack and then the magic happens - would the headphone jack be sufficient for super qualtiy sound, or would the 'jack in the back' of the pc be better: or do I have to tune them to fm like the car thingy... in which case how would it work with my pc?) Any/all advice appreciated. Is it a general rule that the more expensive they are, the better they are? What is a good brand?

TIA.

I use Bluetooth now, as I find wireless ones a bit iffy. Basically you buy a transmitter that connects to your player and a set of Bluetooth headphones. I bought my transmitter from DealExtreme, but I bet eBay has them.

Thanks for that. I'm only just starting to look at them, so didn't know bluetoothyness was an option.

Mate bought a pair of Sony ones from Argos that run on FM. Uses them to watch TV when missus asleep. Kept on getting interferance and breakthrough on them. Took them back and got the Phillips ones that run on Infra Red and they work great for what he needs. They where both about £39. Only problem is that you mention the phrase super quality sound and that will not happen with any wireless headphones.

Really? About the super quality I mean... It's very important to me. I was hoping they would be good, seeing as how they go up to £300 a pair...?
