you could buy a router, that just plugs into your computer and then your phone will use that

It you used a USB device youd have to have the PC on when you wanted to use the Wifi on the DS/Phone/PSP

Personally I'd recommend getting a wireless router. You can leave the PC plugged in wired, and if you wish block all wireless devices apart from your DS/PSP/Phone

Right, as far as I'm aware there are a few aimed at the handheld gaming market. Probably around £30.
I'll have a look now see what I can find.

Datal Wifi Max - About £18 (Play.com)

As far as I can tell it can be used with PSP, Ds, etc. although you may want to do a little reading up first.
These devices are getting mixed reviews, although probably partly down to technical knowledge (or lack of)

PSP - http://www.play.com/Games/PSP/4-/866456/-/Product.html
DS - http://www.play.com/Games/DS/4-/866457/WiFi-Max-For-DS/Product.html

Nintendo make one, but apparently that requires some hacking to work with devices other than the Wii or DS.
Plus its £10 more.

There are probably other about also, but these seem to the main ones

As far as I can tell it will work with all the devices. The product description says:

'You can connect multiple consoles and even other WiFi devices including laptops and PDA's.'

As far as I can tell they are the same. Try googling it, just be be certain.

The PSP one appears to come with some Media software, but not really much different to the drag-and-drop normally used.

No, that makes your comp able to receive a wireless connection. I'll have a look if i can find what your looking for

The USB adapters mentioned above are really for connecting your computer to an existing wireless network. Having said that you can always operate the device in Ad-Hoc mode.

Some equipment like the PS3 however won't operate in Ad-Hoc mode.

So, would any dongle enable internet connection sharing? :?
(as in wifi ds? or ps3/wii?)
Don't mean to sound thick (but can't help it:thinking:)
