Hiya, i'm looking for a router which i can use to go online with my Nintendo DS, as my current Netgear one doesn't allow me to do so. I'm looking tp spend about £30 & any help would be appreciated.

The Netgear DG834G works with the DS, it's £41(ish) on Amazon*. Have you got wireless security set up? If it's WPA then that's why it doesn't work (The DS doesn't support WPA).

* - I know it works, I've got one.

The Netgear one should work, mine works with the DS. It's just a matter of changing the type of security. Nintendo DS's support WEP passwords but not WPA passwords. Also you might need to enable mac address filtering, it's more secure if you do anyway.

How did you get to change the security settings from WPA to WEP please?

Which modem/router have you got?

Netgear:

If you do change it to WEP you might want to set up MAC filtering (makes it more secure).

EDIT: You only need to set up MAC filtering for wireless devices; wired devices don't need to be added to the list.
