Can someone with experience tell me what is the permanent live, switched live and neutral from the colours brown, grey and black?

normaly grey is switched live , brown live n black neutral. sleeve them up in the correct colors to remind who ever looks at it next :)

just make sure the power is off if your doing it naked stood in a bath of water lol

Don't think I've got it wired up correctly at the moment, as the light for the fan in permanently on, and the fan cuts off with the light switch, when it's supposed to over run with the timer.

is the overrun turned right down ? could explain it

my advice, dont electrocute yourself like i did. it bloody hurts and i felt funny for a couple of weeks after :s
