i have had mine done

I was put to sleep, so didnt worry about it at all, was only 5-10 minutes, and once you are ok, you go home (someone has to come with you and take you hom, you cant drive)

after that, just a bit sore for a day, no biggy, and soon forgot all about it

you can make the arrangements for the sleep option, but they have to get in an anaesthetist, and you have to have someone to come with you, and you cant drive yourself home

but it seems you already made the appointment as it is, and either chose not to do the sleep option, or they didnt tell you

I have had a tooth out awake, and its pretty quick, but hurts for about 10 seconds while they yank it

to be honest, what was far worse was an apisectomy (no NOT a vasectomy!) , I wont go into that, but be glad its not you

I've had 2 taken out, Not at the same time though, However they didn't put me to sleep and I drove home.

Now they tend to just numb your gums and pull them out, You feel the tugging and it's a little uncomfortable but over in less than a minute, Mine bleed for about half hour after but wasn't sore at all, In fact it felt great, I'd had severe earache for two weeks and it instantly disappeared after.

lol, oh joy. Well I hate to be the bearer of crap news, but I had my first wisdom extraction at Mayday about three years ago and it was pretty brutal mate. It took them ages to get it out and I felt like utter **** for a couple of days afterwards. In retrospect, I had my second one out on Tuesday at a place called 'Purley Whites' and the procedure was really quick and I've really not suffered at all!! I don't know if that's down to the place that did it or if it's all depends on the tooth itself, but it's 50/50 in my experience!

I wasn't knocked out either time btw, but it's not really something you need to be knocked out for tbh unless you get seriously worked up about dentistry.

Gotta hate Mayday though, whatever the reason!

I got one of mine out no problem with the jag, didn't have to be knocked out, was more relieved than anything to get it out but my aunty had to get her gums cut to get hers out.

Good Luck.

had mine taken out...only had injections and was no worse than an ordinary tooth extraction..make sure you follow the aftercare advice though...I didnt and got dry socket and an infection...that was sore

OP, worrying depends mainly on which surgeon you get, you could end up with 1 ball less

swelling you wont have to worry about
just no steaks or hot drinks for a day or so, gums heal up amazingly quickly

ive had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out at the dentist just with some local anaesthetic. the bottom two had to be sliced open with a surgical blade and stitched up which wasnt a nice feeling but tbh none of them hurt.. try not to worry and youll be ok.
