Can't stand him, his voice is like nails down a chalkboard to me, really don't see it myself. But then Fleur was no better. Both blend personality devoid cowell puppets. Only watched it cos my eldest has to, or life as we know it ends :p

I loved Andreas first audition. But then his mouth started to annoy me when he sang lol! Before tonight I couldn't call who would win but Ben did great and deserved it. Loved him from his first audition x

Show was rigged all the way, fleur was destined to win it but when the rigging conspiracy stories came out the show obviously swapped fleur with ben. Fleur will now become more successful then ben. As often do the runners up.

I honestly do not believe the show is rigged. 40 millions votes were made tonight. Although I do think Ben will be like most other top winners,James Arthur and Matt cardle not forgetting leona Lewis who have all been dropped. All amazing but now nowhere.

A joint Syco/Sony marketing show watched by a vacuous demographic whose only musical purchases next year will come in December when this years X Factor winners album will be out alongside the rest of the corporate whoores.

Sadly that is millions of people. Feel like kicking the lot of them up the jacksie to go out on a Saturday night and catch a live band instead.

Sad factor, They won't be selling records this time next year, Carp single too yet will most probably be xmas number one.

It's tough at the top of the marketing pile, I feel so sorry for them, it's a long slipperly slope from being marketed to the hilt, having songs crafted for you and then having to try and sign a record deal elsewhere.

It might be healthy for them, welcome them to the real world of artistry. If that fails, they can always peddle the cruise ship karaoke circuit where they all should probably have belonged from the start.

Mel B must of got over the news her only contestant andrea will be 'voted out' before he was voted out. Now her doctor says she could come to todays show. lol. Completely and utterly fixed.

Every year without fail dermot always says they had a record number of voters, i doubt it very much. Just a tactic to make you watch it next year.

Oh and the competition makes you believe you will actually win simons mini, as if thats his mini. Just another tactic to make you enter the competition to boost their stats and profits.

And every year Dermot's leg swing is my cue to change channel.

Not watched it for a long time, when I did, I prerecorded it then managed to watch just the acts in 17 mins.

Tonight was 2 hrs, probably could have got that content down to 30mins !

I really don't know how people can listen to the same repetitive drivel constantly being spouted by the judges.
And of course there is ALWAYS a falling out between the judges which makes headline news towards the end of each series.

Sad world

Kylie Minogue seemed to manage OK when she left Pete Waterman Limited.

Manufactured bands are not a new idea either. For example, (75% of) The Monkees are still performing together regularly.

My wife showed me the £28k mini in the comp, i thought great let people win a car where they possibly cant afford the insurance.

She LEFT to 'broaden' her musical career, big difference from being dropped. Did I ever say manufactured bands were not a new idea? I am quite aware that since the 1950s singers have had their songs crafted for them by songwriters, crap then, crap now.

There is a correlation, I will grant you that, both can leave you brain damaged.

Thought that Fleur had the better voice and would be more "sellable" so is the obv choice to come second.. not tied into the contract the Ben will get.. she'll make more money this way mark my words ;)

Hopefully in Timbuktu where we won't have to listen to the drivel....Oh wait give it a few months and they'll all be a distant memory....glad there is another campaign to stop this sh1te getting to No.1 again.

Iron Maiden

’The Number of the Beast’

Backed by the now traditional social media campaign to dislodge Cowell from the top spot, 2014’s most exciting challenger is a 32-year-old song that defined the new wave of British heavy metal. There would be something perversely, mischievously amusing if a riff-fest, based on the Book of Revelations and concluding, “I have the fire, I have the force/I have the power to make my evil take its course”, was the chart-topper.

William Hill odds: 8/1

Could have been a better song but best of a bad bunch and all that....don't think it has the same impact as Rage Against The Machine....
